Very simply, the goal of folkl.org is to:

• Connect niche films directly to their audience (who will love them),

• Connect filmmakers with the money they deserve for their projects,

• Grow the platform and fund new projects.

Folklorg is made by filmmakers, for ourselves, so that we could have more control over our own work and get stories in front of the audience who will enjoy them the most. 

We are based in Montreal, Canada, but are available worldwide thanks to the Uscreen backend.
